Garden roses were the perfect romantic addition to the aisle and huppah of this outdoor wedding set in the hills of Santa Barbara. The lush white flowers, simple decor, and all-white palette were stunningly simple and created romantic ambiance without distracting from the gorgeous surroundings. I love that it’s the perfect balance between nature and design and a great example if you’re going to have a stunning setting or backdrop for your ceremony.

Did you know that the apple blossom is actually apart of the rose family? And in the spring, apple blossoms are in full bloom all over the northeast (the perfect addition to spring wedding arrangements). I love how unexpected the branchy flower looks in an otherwise classic spring centerpiece like this one  designed by Brooklyn-based florist, Liza Lubell. Love!

The world of wedding photos is no doubt filled with pretty pink peonies, rustic wooden tables and lots of shabby chic reception ideas. But what I love about this wedding is how clean and modern it is. Jen and Joseph started with an ultra-modern venue (the new Kauffman Center in Kansas City, Missouri) and let it drive their style decisions. Mindy Weiss just has a way of creating fairy-tale wedding designs and this is one of them. Mindy and team brought the outdoors in by hanging flower-laden vines from a chic all-white ceiling. Lining the ceremony aisle with even more lush white blooms created an all-around garden effect.

“A tablescape that highlights fresh blooms in a water garden, is not only elegant, but a lovely way to bring layers to an intimate setting,” says celebrity event planner Preston Bailey. A low rectangular plexiglass container filled with water, flowers, and candles add an element of surprise to an otherwise simple and chic table. By incorporating simple flower arrangements of white roses, lily of the valley, and ranunculuses, the water garden makes a bold statement without going over-the-top. The best part about this design? It’s low so it makes it easy for guests across the tables from each other to interact with each other.
