The daughter of the Sultan of Brunei, one of the world’s wealthiest men, got married yesterday in a lavish ceremony. The wedding took place at the Throne Hall of Istana Nurul Iman in Brunei, a 1,700-room palace! Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah is one of 12 children of the Sultan and the first to get married since 2007. On Sunday, the couple will be presented to the royal court in a final ceremony ending a week’s worth of wedding festivities. Check out the silk garb and the traditional rituals.
