After meeting at Duke University and dating for nearly seven years, Tiffany and Richard planned a New York destination wedding for their families (from Hong Kong and Taiwan). The couple created a modern yet feminine aesthetic with soft pinks, white and cream.

Tiffany accessorized her Vera Wang A-line gown with an oversize bow at the waist and jewelry that her mother designed especially for her.

The silver leather of Tiffany’s Sergio Rossi peep-toe pumps complemented the wedding’s overall palette and her petite bunch of pink and white peonies fit in well with the romantic garden-inspired look of the day. See their entire wedding.

It’s a balancing act finding a wedding dress. You want something that makes you feel beautiful and sexy and still comfortable. But sometimes finding a dress that fits all your categories just isn’t possible (or maybe you don’t want it to be!). Opting for an attire change mid-evening is an option. Enter: Lindsey and Jonathan. For the ceremony, she wore an A-line strapless Vera Wang gown made with three types of ivory hand-sewn lace. But for the reception exit, she changed into a flirty, fringe-embellished dress. Fashion Editor for Vogue, design director for Ralph Lauren, and now arguably the most prominent bridal designer in America, Vera Wang has accomplished a few things, to say the least.

For those that didn’t know, she commissioned her own wedding gown design when she got engaged in 1989 because she was frustrated with the options available, and from that developed her own couture bridal boutique and eventually a signature line.

Wearing an ivory silk mermaid Vera Wang gown and a romantic lace veil, Ashley Biden, a social worker and daughter of vice president Joe Biden, married Philadelphia surgeon Dr. Howard David Krein at the same Delaware church where she was baptized, the Associated Press reports.

After the ceremony at Greenville’s St. Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church, the couple and an approximate 200 close friends and family gathered for a cozy reception at the Biden’s lakeside family home in Wilmington. According to People, guests enjoyed a backyard family-style dinner, which was prepared by the vice president himself!

The couple was introduced in 2010 by Ashley’s older brother, and got engaged on a cliff (at sunset!) in California’s Big Sur last October.

“We’re happy to welcome Howard into our family, and we wish them all the best in their new life together,” Joe and wife Dr. Jill Biden, said in a statement released by the vice president’s office.

As for the honeymoon, a family source tells People that Howard, 45, will surprise Ashley, 30, with their destination — we can’t wait to see where he’ll take her!

Lindsay and Craig’s preppy-elegant Michigan nuptials caught our eye — find out how to steal their style!

the dress After an entire day of dress shopping with mom and grandma, Lindsay slipped into one last dress: an English net gown by Vera Wang. “It was the perfect mix of structure and femininity,” she says. the groom’s attire Craig’s shopping day was much shorter. He spotted, tried on and bought his khaki Brooks Brothers suit in 15 minutes, accessorizing with a preppy green-and-white polka dot tie. the boutonniere Craig wore a small white bloom and some greens on his lapel. the jewelry Lindsay made her necklace from bits of her mom’s veil and her grandma’s pearls.

There’s nothing wrong with the color on your screen — Vera Wang showed her new bridal collection in the color red! While it may not be the American idea of a wedding dress color, it’s in fact very appropriate for Chinese brides: It’s a Chinese wedding tradition for brides to wear a red dress (the color of good luck and happiness). That said, we’re sure the designs will also be available stateside in shades of white.
