Here’s one no one saw coming: After onlookers spotted Brit supermodel Agyness Deyn and her actor boyfriend Giovanni Ribisi (wait, they were dating?) suspiciously kissing while waiting in line at the Los Angeles County Registrar’s Office, the two finally confirmed their elopement Thursday afternoon.

“Agyness Deyn and Giovanni Ribisi quietly married in Los Angeles over the weekend,” Ribisi’s rep told UsWeekly.

Deyn, 29, best known for taking the fashion industry by storm with her signature pixie cut and edgy model-off-duty style, had been dating the 37-year-old Avatar and Lost In Translation actor for just several months before the two decided to make it official.

Following Marc Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, and Jessa and Thomas on HBO’s Girls,  Agyness and Giovanni’s nuptials mark the third major surprise wedding we’ve seen recently.

The “mystery party” on Sunday night’s season finale of HBO’s Girls transformed quickly into Jessa’s impromptu wedding to middle-aged business man, Thomas John. The free (or, lost) spirit sent a text message invite ordering the gang to attend the party of the year.

As friends arrived… Surprise! The ceremony unfolded and John began to recite his vows. He spoke of the night he met Jessa (just two weeks ago!), when he begged her and Marnie for a threesome. Romance was in the air.

Complete with the awkwardness and dysfunction we LOVE, the party was memorable and fantastic. Jessa’s “bohemian” wedding day style complimented the Brooklyn atmosphere, music, and desserts – macaroons and cupcakes were among the many.

We cannot wait to see what Season 2 brings to Hannah, Shoshanna, Marnie, & Jessa.

What a beautiful surprise for Priscilla and Mark! Their secret ceremony, with only a 100 close family and friends, was a surprise even to the guests. She looked beautiful, and oh so happy, in a Claire Pettibone laser cut floral gown. The intimate and sweet nature of the gown perfectly complimented the couple’s private ceremony.

Mark Zuckerberg had a busy week! Facebook went public (with Mark now worth more than $19 Billion!) and just today he married his long time girlfriend Priscilla Chan.  It was a surprise wedding for the approximate 100 close family and friends that were invited. Guests thought they were attending Priscilla’s graduation party but instead witnessed Mark and Priscilla finally tie the knot after 9 years. Congrats to the happy couple!
