For better or for worse, 45% of brides are using social media to announce, plan and pin wedding details to share with friends, fam, or followers– and this stat keeps growing. 85% of brides agree that the internet plays a huge role in their wedding planning, but what’s proper “web-etiquette” seems debateable. Is it okay to post pictures on Facebook of the bride or groom if you’re a wedding guest? Can you congratulate a friend publicly on their engagment before they make a status announcement? Dave and Chanelle of Ohio tapped into their social media instincts and set up a Twitter station at their reception. Guests signed into an account the couple designated as their live wedding feed and tweeted the night away. Fun!
