When Kate and Marcus got engaged, they knew they wanted a wedding in the bride’s hometown. While exploring different options, Kate realized her father’s ranch was the ideal setting for their day. Together, the couple designed their country wedding with glamorous old-Hollywood touches like luxe chandeliers; elegant draping; low, lush floral arrangements; and a rich color palette of ivory, blush, gold and black. The seven-tiered wedding cake covered in a fabric-like fondant draping and luxe quilting had to be the most breathtaking part of the reception (besides the bride, of course!).

Friends since childhood, Libby and Joe had an intimate wedding on her parent’s ranch in Virgina, which set the tone for a rustic, country affair with tons of custom touches (all of the reception tables were constructed by the bride’s father!) and simple rustic details. I love how the neutral color palette of creams, blush, gold and champagne let the natural beauty of the setting take over and create a romantic backdrop for the day.

I love when a couple adds tons of personal touches to their wedding day, and Jordan and James did just that! The couple incorporated their shared love of bears with bride-and-groom teddy bear chair backs and a charitable favor donation made to The American Bear Association. The setting on the shore of Montauk Lake at the Montauk Lake Club and Marina also held special significance for the bride, since she often visited her grandmother there during summers as a child. Details like the indigo and tangerine color palette and sunflowers added a hint of autumn to the laid-back, cozy farmhouse vibe (complete with hay bale seating!). You can’t miss this completely romantic and personal wedding!

Wendy & Weston’s wedding is the perfect mixture of rustic and chic.  The couple wed in an outdoor ceremony with limited decorations, making the bride & groom the focal point.  At the reception, different textures worked together perfectly to decorate the space. Check out the draped linens, place mats and table runner which create an interesting aesthetic highlighting the naturalistic location and luxe, elaborate centerpieces. I love how this couple transformed an ordinary barn into something magical.

All you need to plan a beautiful outdoor wedding with a rustic edge is a classic color palette lots of natural decor and a few surprising design elements and Taylor and Matt’s wedding is the perfect example. Silver chevron table runners added a twist to otherwise simple white tables, potted succulents doubled as escort cards, and a rustic barn draped with ivory fabric and low ambient lighting created a welcoming and visually stunning dance floor. It doesn’t get much more picturesque than an outdoor ceremony like this one — set under a breathtaking blue sky and surrounded by rolling green mountains.
