The glittery toasters have made us want to celebrate everyday day of the week since they arrived! Every girl in the office has been talking about these stunning Lazaro gowns sent over by JLM Couture for a photoshoot this week. And as well they should! Dripping in beads, delicate details, and some floral details these pretty dresses would make any bride feel like a million bucks.

I’m a bit of a stationery geek (typography, letterpress, spacing!) and when I saw this invitation with a delicate vellum folder, I fell in love. The map is so subtle, but it’s such an cool way to bring your wedding location into your stationery suite. It may not be one of your most highly visible accessories, but your garter — if you’re going along with this bridal tradition — is still an important one. We loved this jeweled peach garter sent to us from La Gartier (LaGartier.com) that’s just as pretty as a sash or clutch you’d wear outside your gown. This designer specializes in custom-made garters that are created to each client’s specifications, and they can include anything from the intricate beading on this garter to feathers, vintage brooches, grosgrain ribbon and pearls.

This petite centerpiece is still brightening up our office after spending a day under the hot lights of a video shoot. We love how the designers at City Blossoms in Manhattan (CityBlossoms.com) grouped flowers of the same color (cobalt blue, lime green and crisp white) to achieve an eye-catching pattern with visual impact. “Beer” and “pretty” — those two words aren’t usually in the same sentence, right? Well, let me break the mold and just say it: This beer is pretty. Samuel Adams has created a limited-release beer just for weddings and dressed it up to play the part (we love the wine bottle-like vessel and lacy label). The beer itself sounds pretty sweet too — it’s a Belgian-style pale golden ale with notes of citrus and honeysuckle.

If that sounds tasty to you, you might want to find your way to the Boston area on July 26 for our “Brewlywed at the Brewery” event. We partnered up with Samuel Adams to give engaged couples a chance to buy a case of the beer (only 500 cases were brewed!) at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery. Bonus: if you’re one of the first 20 to show up wearing wedding attire (lineup begins at 7 a.m.), you’ll score a bottle of the ale signed by Samuel Adams founder Jim Koch. There will also be a raffle to have Samuel Adams pick up the tab for your rehearsal dinner and a justice of the peace on-site to wed any couples who want to get married on the spot. See you there!

And the “Prettiest Thing” goes to…this whimsical yellow and blue, letterpress invitation suite by One Plus One. There are too many fun details to count — just to name a few, we love the chicken, beef and vegetarian icons on the RSVP card, the luggage tag address label on the envelope, and the incredibly cute illustration of the couple in an airplane on the invitation card itself. These would be the perfect preview to a cheerful garden wedding — I can already picture myself sipping lemonade under an umbrella at the cocktail hour.
