We knew that DJ Morty Coyle and Jodie Sweetin (remember Stephanie Tanner from Full House?) had gotten engaged in 2011 — but it wasn’t until just last week that we found out the two had secretly wed on March 15, 2012!

The story is so sweet, we had to share: Morty and Jodie are friends of Ryan and Graham (the cute couple with the modern, Supper Club-themed wedding we recently featured). After having attended Ryan and Graham’s wedding, Morty and Jodie were so inspired, that they decided to finally tie the knot. When Morty spotted his friends’ wedding on our blog, he and Jodie reached out to share all the details and photos from their wedding day. Take a look!

Jodie wore a tea-length dress designed by Oleg Cassini and a beautiful, vintage-inspired hairpiece for their small and intimate wedding ceremony.  The two exchanged vows at a friends home in Beverly Hills in front of a few of their close family members (that’s their daughter Beatrix and Jodie’s daughter Zoie in the photos). The flowers were provided by family friends at Standing Ovation located in Los Alamitos. One of Morty’s oldest friends officiated the ceremony and afterward everyone celebrated with dinner at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. For dessert, they headed back home and served wedding cake by Sweet Lady Jane bakery and vegan cupcakes for the groom.

Congratulations to Jodie and Morty — and thank you for letting us feature your beautiful wedding day!

Surrounded by close friends and family, Alec Baldwin married Hilaria Thompson on Saturday in New York City, People reports.

The 30 Rock star wed his yoga instructor fiancé of three months at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, which was reportedly decorated with white roses, hydrangeas and calla lillies for the couple’s ceremony.

Hilaria, 28, wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back, while Alec, 54, suited up in Tom Ford. (Alec’s daughter Ireland Baldwin and Hilaria’s mother also wore Amsale).

Celebrity guests included Tina Fey, Woody Allen and Mariska Hartigay, along with Alec’s actor brothers Stephen and Billy Baldwin.

According to the New York Times, the two met at a New York Restaurant in February 2011 and got engaged this past April.

Guilty pleasure alert: Almost a decade after the release of her 2003 smash hit The Devil Wears Prada, chick-lit author Laurie Weisberger is bringing “the clackers” back with a much-anticipated sequel, set to be released in 2013.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively reports that Weisberger is currently working on Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns – and here’s the best part: the story follows main character Andy Sachs as she edits a bridal magazine (!!!) while planning her own wedding to a handsome media scion. It’s still unclear how ice-cold editrix Miranda Priestly will be involved in this one, but judging from the title, we’re almost certain she’ll be plotting the ways to sabotage Andy’s big day.

You can bet we’ll be first in line to snag a copy — and the first ones to let you know if the story rings true.
