As you may have heard, Kim Kardashian is expecting and Kanye West is the father. (West gave a shout out to his ‘baby mama’ during his Sunday night Atlantic City concert breaking the news of the couple’s pregnancy.) While Kim is still settling her divorce to 72-day fling Kris Humphries, we may be hearing wedding bells for KimYe yet! If there’s going to be another E! Wedding Special anytime soon though, she’s going to need a dress that has a relaxed silhouette (to allow for a growing belly).

Rumor has it that even though Kim and Kanye aren’t engaged (yet!), they’re planning an over-the-top affair to the tune of $20 million! So, we couldn’t resist dreaming up what their totally over-the-top wedding would look like!

So here’s the deal: Rumors have surfaced that Kanye has been shopping for engagement rings for Kim K. And while most of you know of (we’re tired of hearing about it too) Kim’s epic 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, her divorce hasn’t actually been finalized yet — isn’t it a bit too early to be talking marriage, Mr. West? So, how does one approach a third marriage proposal in a tasteful fashion (not that we’re saying Kanye or Kim are tasteful)? We’ve broken the engagement etiquette rules down for these two in case the rumors are true.

1. Take a breather. Even though the celeb duo didn’t waste any time starting a courtship after the announcement of the divorce, it’s imperative that Kanye waits at least until the papers have been signed before popping the question to Kim. I mean, at least hold off until reruns of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians wedding special are off the air.

2. Go small. After Kim and Kris’ nuptials, news outlets reported that very little of the extravagant wedding was actually paid for, instead, it was heavily sponsored by vendors looking to cash-in on a few minutes of fame. If Kanye and Kim (what’s up with her going after guys with ‘K’ names?) are hoping for any shot at normalcy (not that we think they are), they should opt for a small ceremony — read: sans television crews.

3. Get the family on board. While Kim and Kris were dating there were obvious tensions between Kris and the Kardashian sisters. In case you’ve been living under a rock, here’s a tidbit: The Kardashians are a tight-knit family. Ignoring the warning signs, Kim forged ahead with the marriage. This time around, it’s important that Kim (and Kanye!) get her family’s support.

4. Think twice about registering. By the time Kim’s marriage to Humphries had crumbled, the couple hadn’t even opened all their wedding gifts. Controversy ignited over what Kim should do with them after the marriage — in the end she decided to donate everything to charity. So, what do you get two filthy-rich celebs, anyway? Since both are well-established adults (and it would be Kim’s third marriage), instead of registering, they should request that their guests give a donation to a charity of their choice.
