Brooke and Jeremy’s downtown Austin, Texas wedding was modern and bright — a far cry from the world of traditional white weddings and pink peonies! From the bride’s succulent bouquet and bird cage veil to the groom’s yellow bow-tie and gray vest combo, we’re loving the couple’s boho style. They added simple greenery to their ceremony to give it color and so as not to take away from the stunning rooftop view of downtown Austin. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the French Legation Musuem  lawn for a laid-back afternoon reception filled with colorful details like patterned linens and potted succulents. The crisp, clean photography from Cory Ryan Photography just perfectly captures the vibe from the day. At the end of the night, Brooke changed into a feathery little after-party dress and added a pair of long white false eyelashes. (Photos below!)

I’m a huge fan of fashion photography-inspired engagement photo shoots. So when it came to finding inspiration for my own, I found it within the pages of a Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall W Magazine photo shoot. Moody, sexy and real all rolled up into one — total engagement photo shoot material. That in mind, our crazy awesome photographer Mel Barlow scouted in and around Brooklyn until she found an authentic silver air stream parked in the back of a nearby diner. Ben and I love diners and we’re a big fan of cross-country road trips, so the fact that we got to have our photos in an airstream trailer in the back of a Brooklyn diner was beyond perfect. Enough of my rambling though — onto the photos!
