Why They Chose it: This was one of the first songs Anelena and Joel danced to when they started dating.

The Significance: The couple even watched Joel’s friend (and groomsman) Peter perform it with his cover band while getting to know each other. The song was an easy, meaningful choice for their first dance, but there’s an extra-sentimental twist.

The Extra-Sentimental Twist: “On the drive up to Orlando, Florida for the wedding, Pete and Joel decided to surprise me by having Peter sing our first dance,” Anelena says. It doesn’t get much more personalized than that!
