Music fans are excited for tonight’s 12.12.12 Concert for Sandy Relief and some are calling it the greatest lineup of all time. Some of the performers include Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Kanye West, Alicia Keys and the Who.

This might be one of the coolest surprises we can imagine for a bride and groom on their big day. Sir Elton John surprised Laura Katzenberg and record producer Mark Sudack, when he performed live for the couple’s first dance this past weekend in Los Angeles.

Laura Katzenberg is the daughter of  Jeffrey Katzenberg, the CEO of DreamWorks Animation and former chairman of Walt Disney Studios. Jeffrey must know Sir Elton from working on The Lion King!

Gabby and Weston danced to Adele for their Riverdale, NY wedding, there’s no denying that Adele’s voice has made her an instant classic that couples will be dancing to for a long time to come like Etta James before her (At Last never gets old!).

What they danced to: “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele Why they chose it: “We wanted it to be original, but still very sweet and appropriate.”

The couple stuck to pop music played by a band for the reception, and you can tell these two really had some fun. “My brother sang a song (unplanned) with the singer — he got a little carried away.” Sounds like my kind of party!

Laura and Peter were at a stalemate when it came to deciding what song they would choose for their first dance at their Cincinnati, Ohio wedding.

What They Danced To: “We’re Going to be Friends” cover by The White Stripes The Story Behind the Song: The couple chose the song over Cat Power’s cover of “I Found Reason.” “Both of us liked both songs and are fans of both artists, but Laura wanted Cat Power more and Peter wanted The White Stripes more.”

So, how did they finally decide?

“We tried dancing to both songs in our apartment and decided that ‘I Found a Reason’ was a little too slow for our first dance.”

Now’s the time when I push the Staples button that says, “That was easy.”

On another note: The couple also had a surprise on the dance floor when one of the groom’s ushers rocked out in only his bow tie, boxers, and socks! Too bad we don’t have any pics of THAT part of the wedding…

For their Houston, TX wedding, Julie and Andrew put a personal twist on a song they loved to make it fit them as a couple!

What they danced to: A duet version of “Don’t Change” by Musiq Soulchild How they made it special: The couple weren’t satisfied with the original version of the song for their first dance because “the lyrics only pertained to the guy singing to the girl,” said the bride. “One of my really good friend’s, Julie Tran and her brother, David Tran, who happens to be an awesome singer as well, changed the lyrics to make it into a duet and sang the song live with a piano and guitar background.”

For their Cambridge, Massachusetts wedding, Jane and Jason got creative and did a little Glee-inspired choreography!

Their First Dance Song: The Glee version of “Lucky” by Jason Mraz

How they made it special: “We reenacted the scene from Glee where the football player sings a duet with the cheerleader,” said the bride. “Jason had a guitar and I stood next to him as we lip sang to our pre-recorded song. Then we did did a choreographed dance for the remainder of the song.” By recording their own first dance song they were able to change the words to the song so it really reflected them as a couple.
