For better or for worse, 45% of brides are using social media to announce, plan and pin wedding details to share with friends, fam, or followers– and this stat keeps growing. 85% of brides agree that the internet plays a huge role in their wedding planning, but what’s proper “web-etiquette” seems debateable. Is it okay to post pictures on Facebook of the bride or groom if you’re a wedding guest? Can you congratulate a friend publicly on their engagment before they make a status announcement? Mark Zuckerberg had a busy week! Facebook went public (with Mark now worth more than $19 Billion!) and just today he married his long time girlfriend Priscilla Chan.  It was a surprise wedding for the approximate 100 close family and friends that were invited. Guests thought they were attending Priscilla’s graduation party but instead witnessed Mark and Priscilla finally tie the knot after 9 years. Congrats to the happy couple!
