UK model, socialite, journalist, and party girl Peaches Geldof (daughter of singer/songwriter  Bob Geldof) married Thomas Cohen (lead singer of a band called S.C.U.M) in September. After returning from their honeymoon in Mauritius, today Geldof snapped this picture of her mega-watt ring and then shared it via Twitter and Instagram to show off her new wedding bands — a “Christmas pressie” from Cohen. The diamond and platinum Tiffany bands certainly add to the girth and bling of the already oversized cushion cut engagement ring.

It’s one of our favorite Monday nights of the year, the season finale of The Bachelor!  Who will get the final rose and the rumored 4.3-carat, platinum Neil Lane engagement ring from the handsome, Sean Lowe  — Catherine or Lindsay? And the theme of geeked-out wedding rings continue! We discovered the R2D2 engagement ring not too long ago, and now, another ring created by CustomMade, is the ‘Companion Cube’ ring inspired by the love one couple had for the video game Portal. Brittany Foster of BMF Jewelry artfully created an engagement ring for Justin to proudly give to his new fiancé. Justin knew no ordinary diamond would do, so the due custom designed the perfect ring for his video game-loving partner. It was based on an object from the game that he and his soon-to-bride shared such a passion for (she said yes).

The ‘Companion Cube’ is a reoccurring object seen and used throughout the game, so naturally it was the ideal choice of design. Plus, we love the touch of little hearts.

Brittany played with wax models before deciding on the final design of the ring. She and Justin discussed every detail of the ring including placement, metal and color.

The result was a vintage-inspired stainless steel ring that could support the intricate cube and integrity of the design. It’s classic, yet unique. Guys, kudos for stepping up the creativity!

America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston announced her engagement to Justin Theroux back in August, but no photos had leaked of what the ring actually looked like — until now!

A photographer snapped an image of the couple vacationing in Santa Fe, New Mexico this past weekend. The gi-normous diamond engagement ring looks to be an emerald-cut – around 8-10 carats and set on a simple, thin gold band.

Just yesterday, Avril Lavigne announced her engagement to Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger — and today, we were treated to an official picture of the couple, along with snapshots of her 14-carat engagement ring (yes, you read that correctly). Before Will and Kate, America was feverish for JFK and Jackie. On this day in 1953, the Massachusetts senator proposed to his socialite girlfriend with a stunning emerald-and-diamond ring. Seven years later, the golden couple would become the youngest (and arguably the most stylish) president and first lady to grace the White House. In honor of their 59th engagement anniversary, here’s a quick run-down on their whirlwind romance:

How they met: Before reigning as king and queen of Camelot, Jackie worked as a photographer and columnist for the Washington Times Herald, while JFK was a fast-rising political star on Capitol Hill. On May 8, 1951, the two were introduced by a mutual friend at a Georgetown dinner party. “I leaned across the asparagus and asked her for a date,” Kennedy reportedly said.

How they got engaged: After two years of dating, JFK proposed to Jackie on June 24, 1953 with a Van Cleef and Arpels ring that consisted of a 2.88-carat diamond mounted next to a 2.84-carat emerald with tapered baguettes, according to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. In 1962, the ring was reset to include 2.44 carats worth of round and marquis accent diamonds.

Keira proudly showed off her new ring around London this past weekend. The couple strolled around the city seeming completely smitten with one another. Like Keira, her ring is classic and romantic.
