When your venue is as cool as the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, California, you’re basically set for decor. Justine and Stephen kept their color scheme crisp, using white floral centerpieces on black linens to let the surrounding WWII aircraft stand out.

When planning out your color palette, dear Knotties, remember: Your ceremony and reception don’t have to look exactly the same. Julie and Bill transitioned from a clean all-white ceremony on the California bluffs to a candlelit jewel-toned ballroom reception. As long as your hues are within the same color family (i.e. they would look good together), the end result will be beautiful.

Alright, who’s on the serious summer countdown like we are? Personally, we’re dreaming of a whole season of backyard parties and pining over laid-back, warm-weather weddings like Kira and Colin’s here.
