While batik patterns aren’t a typical pattern found in weddings, Eastern-inspired prints are  becoming an influencing trend in the fashion and wedding world alike. Yifat Oren took a break from her celebrity clientele (Drew Barrymore, Molly Sims) to design this at-home Southern California wedding, which featured these Indian-inspired batik fabric table runners. Oren drew her palette from the batik fabric with hints of rusts, reds, peaches and brass tones while most of the flowers candles and accessories were white. Oren took inspiration for the design from the joining of Saree’s and Sidh’s two cultures (Jewish and Hindu) and the California locale. “I wanted to give them a beautiful, Western home garden wedding — with a twist of Indian culture,” she says.
