Style Stalker! Steal Her Romantic Bohemian Style

When it came time to choosing her wedding gown, professional runner and blogger Stephanie Garcia knew exactly where to turn. “I met Kate Pankoke, the creator of the bridal line Elaya Vaughn, on a photoshoot in December 2011. I was so impressed by her first line of gowns that I asked her to create a custom wedding dress for me,” says Stephanie. The two worked together to dream up a design that perfectly captured the non-traditional, but totally romantic look Stephanie was going for with layers of airy tulle, a classic A-line silhouette and lace-trimmed neckline. For the finishing touch, she added a sheer Juliet-style veil from Twigs and Honey and a pair of delicate pearl earrings.

Stephanie decided to switch up her look for the reception, opting for a bright red maxi dress she found on Rent the Runway. “For a laid-back bohemian vibe, I tousled my hair and wore the most gorgeous floral crown made by our florist Southern Blooms. It was the perfect look for me!” recalls Stephanie.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
