This Vintage-Inspired Bohemian Wedding Is Super Sweet

Tess and Peter’s LA wedding was inspired by the lush gardens at their Laurel Canyon home. “We wanted  a lot of green and a bohemian, wild vibe. Lady slipper orchids, lilacs, flowering dogwood, almond, clematis and sage were arranged by Flower Wild in an assortment of vintage vessels, with amber votive candles and decorative branches here and there,” Tess recalls.

As for the design concept, the couple used planner Beth Helmstetter to bring their vision to life. “We were working with burnt orange, green, gold and ivory. We wanted woodsy, classic, vintage and — most of all — unfussy,” Tess says of her aesthetic.

In her simple bohemian gown by Sarah Seven and his neutral suit with orange touches, Tess and Peter brought the entire vision of the day together.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
