Angelina Jolie’s Wedding Dress and Veil Features Pictures Drawn by Her Children!

It’s no secret that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wanted their six children to be heavily involved in their wedding, but Angelina took it to the next level and had colorful drawings created by Maddox, 13-years-old, Pax, 10-years-old, Zahara, nine-years-old, Shiloh, eight-years-old, and Vivienne and Knox, six-years-old, featured on her wedding dress and veil, making it a truly unique work of art.

Luigi Massi, Atelier Versace’s head tailor, made her gorgeous custom white satin gown, while Donatella Versace designed the creation. The (obviously) stunning bride accessorized with a pair of white silk Versace heels and wore her hair in a sleek bun, complemented by natural makeup.

“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” Angelina told People. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”

Brad (also known as the groom of our dreams) wore his own suit and one of his son’s ties since he forgot to pack his own!

As for the wedding itself, each of the children had a role in the ceremony: Maddox and Pax walked Angie down the aisle (and Pax also baked the wedding cake!), Zahara and Vivienne were flower girls and Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers. All six of them also helped write their parent’s vows.

“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” the couple said. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

Angelina and Brad’s secret nuptials, held on August 23 at their Chateau Miraval estate in France, was attended by only 20 select guests.

Unfortunately, the sweet drawings on Mrs. Brad Pitt’s dress can’t be duplicated, but you can get Angelina’s bridal look below and see her one-of-a-kind gown in full:

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
