This Bride’s Bohemian Wedding Had a Tattoo Parlor!

We love when weddings creatively showcase a couple’s personality, and Eleanor and Kevin’s whimsical bohemian wedding at Murray Hill in Leesburg, Virginia did just that!

From the hanging gold lanterns and potted peonies, to the vintage outdoor lounge area and customized crossword puzzle at each place setting, every detail was totally unique. Guests particularly loved the temporary tattoo parlor, marked by a sign made entirely of pushpins and decorated with antique accents.

Eleanor’s look embodied her bohemian aesthetic, with a chic fishtail braid (artfully created by Hair and Makeup Artistry by Claudine), flower crown and beautiful Claire Pettibone dress while Kevin’s more structured, vibrant blue suit and red bow tie further complemented the bold color scheme.

Events in the City together with Sweet Root Village, Something Vintage Rentals and Design Cuisine made each detail look absolutely perfect and Rebekah Murray Photography captured every single moment below and here.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
