See How This Ultra Cool L.A. Couple Pulled Off a Retro-Chic Wedding

From movie poster-inspired invites (a nod to Jean-Luc Godard) by designer Nate Dy to their offbeat reception site SmogShoppe, a former smog check center turned sustainably designed urban event space, Jackie and Jeremy’s wedding could not have been a better reflection of their personalities.

The ultra cool couple from Los Angeles, California chose a retro-chic style for the day with fun touches like vintage glass centerpieces, rustic florals from MJR Designs, a Mexican-Asian infused menu created by La Tabela and a neutral color palette with bright pops of color that highlighted the venue’s eclectic, boho aesthetic.

Mi Belle Photography was there to capture the day. See every last detail here and below.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
