See the Bridesmaid Dress That Sarah Jessica Parker Wore in a Wedding This Weekend!

If Sarah Jessica Parker was a bridesmaid in your wedding and famed hair stylist Serge Normant styled your wedding day hair, it’d be pretty unbelievably amazing, right?

For Sarah Jessica’s former Sex and the City assistant, Melinda Relyea, these were just two perks when she married her fiance James Kearns at The Belle Haven Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, on August 16.

Sarah Jessica and her husband, Matthew Broderick, were both in the wedding, and luckily for us, she took lots of Instagram photos (using the hashtag #melindandjamie) of this lovely nautical wedding. It included a tented reception, white flowers, monogrammed handkerchiefs for the bridal party and a classic wedge salad during dinner.

SJP wore a beautiful strapless purple bridesmaid dress and Melinda wore an amazing white and blue floral Douglas Hannant wedding dress that she 100 percent rocked.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
