Remember Disney Channel Star Aly Michalka? She’s Engaged!

We remember Aly Michalka from her young Disney Channel days starring in Phil of the Future, Now You See It and Cow Belles, so it’s a little crazy hearing that she’s 25 years old now and recently got engaged!

The Two and a Half Men star revealed on Instagram that her boyfriend of over a year, director Stephen Ringer, proposed with a beautiful vintage diamond engagement ring. Aly wrote, “So this happened…..7/8.”

The photo shows a close-up of the round sparkler on Aly’s manicured hand, with another pic posted hours before of her hand by her side that says, “Hmmm….no one’s noticed yet. #Lookcloser.”

Aly also wrote on Twitter, “Wanted to share the exciting news! Feel very blessed to know such a great love #engaged x Aly.”

All we know is that we really, really, really want Aly and her sister AJ Michalka (remember their pop-rock singing duo Aly & AJ, now called 78violet?) to sing “Potential Breakup Song” at the reception. That would pretty much make our lives.

Congrats to Aly and Stephen!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
