Lauren Conrad Took a Stand for Same-Sex Couples During Her Mexican Bachelorette Party

If there’s one thing Lauren Conrad should know about partying in Cabo, it’s that drama always ensues. Lauren’s bachelorette party in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, this weekend hit a snag when she and her friends went to The Office on the Beach restaurant last night but left because it doesn’t allow same-sex couples to play couple games.

“The Office in Cabo does not allow same sex couples to participate in couple games. Had to walk out. #equality #StopTheHate,” Lauren tweeted.

Lauren and her gal pals Lauren Bosworth (Lo to all Laguna Beach fans), Jilly Hendrix, Stephanie Pratt (yes, surprisingly Spencer’s sister is still close with Lauren) and Hannah Skvarla are still having a good time after standing up for everyone’s right to equality. They posted a few gorgeous snaps of the bachelorette party, proving that what happens in Cabo doesn’t stay in Cabo anymore.

Lauren’s making sure that one special guy doesn’t know all the details about her celebration though, since her bachelorette party hashtag is appropriately #donttellmrtell.

The first picture of her bachelorette, showing colorful streamers and the ocean, is captioned, “Let the games begin… #donttellmrtell.” Don’t worry, William — Lauren wasn’t the one dancing on tables in 2004.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
