These Bouquets Will Change What You Think About Silk Flowers

Let’s be honest: Silk flowers get a bad rap. But when we found out these flowers by June Hart Floral & Event Design are made from silk flowers we couldn’t believe it. June Hart designs custom bridal bouquets and flower crowns out of silk that could fool anyone. These bouquets and flower crowns aren’t just pretty, they’re practical too. They’re sturdy and won’t wilt or droop on a hot day and you have a wedding keepsake that will also look pretty on a shelf in your home. Trust us, these photos of June Hart’s designs will make you reconsider everything you thought about silk flowers.

In our search to bring you wedding flower ideas, we have the opportunity to look at many incredible weddings. Naturally, with our love for beautiful floral arrangements permeating everything we see, its rather difficult to narrow it down to just a couple of weddings to share with you, but we finally did. This week we stumbled across two very pretty weddings on Style Me Pretty with unique settings and, of course, beautiful floral arrangements that could complement the beauty of your wedding day perfectly.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
