Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Wedding Weekend by the Numbers

Kim Kardashian: E! / E!

So, we already know that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s weekend wedding was just as lavish and over-the-top as predicted. From a huge wall of roses and peonies at their ceremony in Italy to Lana Del Rey, Andrea Bocelli and John Legend singing throughout the weekend, it was definitely a wedding for the books — oh, and let’s not forget that whole traveling from Paris to Italy surprise thing.

We could go on and on about how opulent Kimye’s nuptials were, so to avoid any confusion on just how grand it was, here’s our breakdown of their wedding weekend by the numbers:

$2.8 million: The amount that the wedding cost, according to an estimate from E! — not including the week they spent in Paris before the actual wedding in Italy. Hey, renting jets, security, cars and hotel rooms at the Four Seasons for your guests doesn’t come cheap, right?

500: The name of the preferred auto transportation for each guest. Each of the 200 guests had his or her own chauffeur for a Mercedes-Benz S500 Hybrid, according to

200: The number of guests that were reportedly at the wedding and reception, including Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huck, Rachel Roy, LaLa Anthony, Brittny Gastineau, Jaden Smith, Ray Romulus, Monica Rose, Robin Antin, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Carmelo Anthony, Q-Tip, Blac Chyna, Valentino, Alexander Wang, Riccardo Tisci, Joe Francis, Big Sean, Tyga, Common, Lorraine Schwartz, David Blaine and others.

20: The number of minutes Kanye’s wedding speech was, unsurprisingly. Guests were really in for it as he said, “They feel like it’s okay to put you on the tabloid covers to sell your image, to use you in an SNL spoof,” according to Us Weekly. “We don’t negotiate. We’re not like that. We’re not stupid. The Kardashians are an industry!… We are warriors! There is not one person at this table that has not had to defend us at some point or another. At this table…the combination of powers…can make the world a better place.” He also called Kim the “ideal celebrity… the ideal art.”

Also to be noted: He said during his rehearsal dinner that “Kim’s way more beautiful than I am talented.” Love you, Kanye.

8: The amount of dishes on their wedding menu, created by three-Michelin-star restaurateur Giorgio Pinchiorri, including: homemade mezzelune pasta, monkfish fillet, beef fillet and strawberry sorbet.

7: The amount of tiers on their wedding cake, made by Galateo Ricevimenti.

5: The number of stars Kimye’s honeymoon resort is. The Castlemartyr Resort in Cork, Ireland, dates back to the 17th century.

4: The number of missing guests. Jay  Z, Beyonce, Anna Wintour and, most surprising of all, Kim’s brother, Rob Kardashian, were all MIA on Kimye’s wedding day. Bey did give Kim a shout-out on her wedding day, saying, “Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family.”

3: The number of live performances throughout the weekend. Lana Del Rey performed three songs for the couple at their rehearsal dinner (including “Summertime Sadness,” so appropriate for a happy time, right?), and Andrea Bocelli and John Legend sang at the wedding and reception.

2: The number of wedding dresses Kim wore. Her gown down the aisle was a custom white lace Givenchy Haute Couture gown, and her dress for the reception was a beaded Balmain mini.

1: The number of horse-drawn carriages whisking Kim and Kanye to their rehearsal dinner at Versailles.
