Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Got Married (in Front of a Giant Wall of Roses!)

They finally did it. After a lavish San Francisco proposal, confusing Italian and Parisian wedding reports and one heck of a bachelorette party, the biggest pop culture event of the year has happened. Kim Kardashian is officially Mrs. Kim West!

Kanye West’s rep told UsWeekly, “Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married in a private ceremony in the presence of family and friends in Florence, Italy, today.”

As reported, the couple wed at the 16th-century Fort Belvedere in Florence, with pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. officiating the ceremony during sunset. Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle as Andrea Bocelli sang “Ave Maria,” according to E!.

Kim and Kanye got married in front of guests including Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huck, Rachel Roy, LaLa Anthony, Brittny Gastineau, Jaden Smith, Ray Romulus, Monica Rose, Robin Antin, Chrissy TeigenJohn Legend, Carmelo Anthony, Lorraine SchwartzQ-Tip and others.

And Kim’s bridal party consisted of — who else? — her sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall.

People reported that during the wedding ceremony, guests “broke into applause twice” during the first kiss and the presentation of Mr. and Mrs. West, with Kris Jenner getting a tad weepy in the front row.

And possibly the most romantic part of it all? Kimye said their vows in front of a towering floral wall made of white roses and peonies flown in from France and Belgium.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
