These 5 Celeb Couples Got Married in Italy (Just Like Kimye Will!)

What’s more romantic than getting married in Italy? There’s the scenery, the romance, the wine… we could go on and on. Since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have rented the 16th-century Fort Belvedere in Florence for their nuptials, it made us a little nostalgic for the other over-the-top, lavish and star-studded celebrity weddings that have happened in Italy.

Here are five couples who could’t resist adding a little extra amore to their wedding:

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

Jessica and Justin tied the knot in Puglia at the stunning Borgo Egnazia Resort, where she walked down the aisle in a custom pink organza Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy and John’s Lake Como wedding was romance all the way, with three wedding dresses and a special serenade of “All of Me” from the groom.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

Although there aren’t any pictures from Emily and John’s super-private wedding day, we do know that it took place at pal George Clooney’s estate in Lake Como.

Beverley Mitchell and Michael Cameron

The 7th Heaven star wed her boyfriend in Ravello in 2008, and may have given Jessica Biel (aka the future Mrs. Timberlake) some Italian inspiration, since she was a bridesmaid in her wedding!

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

Ahh… even though they’re not together anymore, who could forget their wedding in Bracciano, complete with a castle ceremony, fireworks and a nightclub-themed reception?

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
