Would You Have Rather Gone to Kim Kardashian’s Bridal Shower or George Clooney’s Engagement Party?

Kim Kardashian: Splash News / TheKnot.com Splash News; GHB/X17online.com

This weekend proved to be quite the star-studded one in LA, since Kim Kardashian had her Parisian-themed bridal shower on Saturday — just one day before George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin‘s engagement party on Sunday! If your invites got lost in the mail (like ours sadly did), check out all the details from both of their soirees below to see which one is more up your alley:

Kim’s chic surprise shower was held at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, while George and Amal’s “laid-back” party was held at Cafe Habana in Malibu (owned by Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber), according to E!.

We kind of doubt Kim’s shower was a total “surprise,” since the reality star was photographed in a stylish white pearl halter dress at the hotel, dressed perfectly for a bridal shower. Conversely, George wore a polo shirt and jeans while Amal wore cute tropical shorts, wedges and a blazer.

Cindy, Rande and Bono were a few of the celebs that helped celebrate George and Amal, while Kim’s shower guest list was full of the usual suspects, like Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Larsa Pippen, her besties Khadijah and Malikah Haqq, plus Ciara and designer Rachel Roy, among others. Kim even had a photo booth:

Rachel posted a photo to Instagram of her table at the shower, showing a pretty white floral centerpiece, a white chocolate Eiffel Tower and a sleeve of Laduree macarons.

While George and Amal didn’t have favors, per se, the couple and their guests had a fair amount of tequila and wine, People reports. Oui and si!

As for me, I love Laduree macarons more than life itself, but a casual party with tequila is more my speed. What about you, Knotties?

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
