You Won’t Believe Why These Groomsmen Are Posing For Wedding Pics in Their Underwear

Groomsmen: /

Two guys have now set the official standard for groomsmen everywhere: Make an awesome toast, help plan the bachelor party and, most importantly, know how to swim! On Jo-Anne and Aaron Easterbrook’s wedding day in Queensland, Australia, they were getting their wedding party pictures taken near the Palm Cove beach when the group saw a fisherman’s boat capsizing.

Acting immediately, the couple’s groomsmen, Dougal Grey and Clayton Deane, stripped down to their underwear and swam out to rescue the fisherman, who was thankfully okay.

Since the guys did such a heroic deed, they were permitted to finish the photo session in their underwear (we bet nobody complained) and were the “toast of the reception,” according to The Telegraph.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
