I love this idea. I think it is a way to truly bring the personalities of the couple into their wedding. Why would I want a statue of a woman that does not look anything like me except in the color of the hair, when I could have an animal that may define me better? I already have my animal toppers picked out and am so thrilled with how beautiful they are, and they are more meaningful to me than a traditional topper.

Love this, I got married in March this year & wanted my dog at the wedding so I had a sugar German Shepard made copied from a picture of him. It was great, he looked fantastic on top of the cake :)

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
