11 Of Our Favorite #WeddingSelfies

It’s official. Selfies are taking over the world. First, the word “selfie” was added to the Oxford English Dictionary, then Ellen snapped a selfie with a few celebs at the Oscars, and this week a couple of newlyweds made the news by posting a selfie with the Pope! So we’re calling it: Selfies are the flashmob proposals of 2014. Everyone is doing it. (And why not? You’re all made up and surrounded by all of your family and friends — who wouldn’t want to document that?). A few of our favorite wedding selfies below.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
