Bachelor Star Ty Brown Marries Bachelorette Star Elizabeth Kitt (Wearing Jeans!)

Elizabeth Kitt and Ty Brown may not have appeared on the same season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but it just goes to show that when it’s right in Bachelor Nation, it’s right. Elizabeth and Ty got married on Saturday in a rustic ceremony in Kingston Spring, Tennessee.

“The ceremony took place yesterday in our barn on our wooded property. We had just immediate family in attendance. We wrote our own vows, so the ceremony was very intimate and personal,” the couple told Us Weekly. Elizabeth wore a simple — but stunning — white gown with a pretty headpiece, and Ty stayed true to his country roots and wore jeans and a black blazer.

Elizabeth, who appeared in Jake Pavelka’s season 14 of The Bachelor, and Ty, who appeared in Ali Fedotowsky’s season six of The Bachelorette, met at an event in LA, started dating in January of 2013 and got engaged in October of 2013. Perhaps Jake and Ali will each send a gift — and maybe two roses, for good measure.

Congrats to the couple!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
