Five Awards Season Beauty Looks That You’ll Want to Steal for Your Wedding

Another Awards season is coming to a close as the Oscars approach on March 2nd. We’re sure to see some amazingly inspirational beauty on that glamorous Sunday evening, but it will be hard to top these five overall beauty looks we’ve admired from Hollywood so far this year. Each one would be perfect for a bride!

Amy Adams

The hair is definitely the star component of this look. It’s got a bit of boho but is totally dressy at the same time. It’s utterly romantic and we love that she kept her makeup fairly simple, but didn’t skimp on the big lashes.

Jennifer Garner

Usually we see Jennifer Garner in mom-mode paparazzi shots so it’s awesome when she gets dressed up to celebrate one of her films like Dallas Buyers Club. This updo is a bridal dream. The texture is amazing but it doesn’t look “overdone” at all. The almost-natural lip and lightly lined eyes don’t look like they’d need constant touch-ups all night long which is a very good thing.

Kerry Washington

There was much debate over Kerry Washington’s Prada crop top at the Screen Actors Guild awards, but nobody can argue that her hair and makeup were perfection. What a brilliant touch to add the ribbon to the updo. And the girly pink lip and lots of lashes make this look flirty but still sophisticated.

Lupito Nyong’o

Every time Lupita steps out onto a carpet, we swoon. It was so hard to pick just one of her beauty looks for this story, but the winner is the side part and amazing red lip at the Golden Globes. The strong brow and black eyeliner give her face a perfect balance.

Margot Robbie

Wolf of Wall Street‘s Margot Robbie is another newcomer who’s making a big impression this awards season. The pastel palette of her makeup goes perfectly with her side bun updo. Plus, the brows. THE BROWS! They are perfect.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
