Who Wore What at the Grammys (And Steal Their Style!)

If you didn’t watch the Grammys last night (maybe you were preoccupied with #TheBachelorWedding) you missed quite a show. Weddings were definitely on everyone’s mind at the award ceremony when 33 couples got married (officiated by Queen Latifah!) while Madonna and Macklemore sang “Same Love.” We felt so inspired that we wanted to share  some of the hottest celebrity dresses from the red carpet and how to get the look for your wedding.

Sexy Shapes

Wearing a colorful version of a stunning Johanna Johnson gown (which we saw at Bridal Fashion Week this past season), Pink looked flawless and radiant in this bold red dress.

Strategically Sheer

Following her opening number with Jay Z, Beyonce changed into a custom white gown by Project Runway alum Michael Costello. Showing off more than a little skin, a barely there dress like this is only for the most daring bride.

Whimsical Layers

Just days after debuting at the Couture Valentino show in Paris, Katy Perry wore a hot-off-the-runway music-inspired Valentino dress. With sheer straps and romantic layers of embellished fabric this look is totally wedding-worthy (not to mention totally Katy!).

Geometric Designs

Whether it was the metallic gold details or the tribal-inspired design, Amber Rose was a perfect match in Naeem Khan. If you love this look for your wedding, think a destination or city-chic affair.

Haute High-Low

Sara Bareilles wore a Blumarine floral-embellished dress with an asymmetrical hemline, which makes this trendy silhouette the ultimate style for showing off your wedding shoes.

Crystal Necklines

Taylor Swift gets an A+ for her fashionable Gucci Premier frock. A dress with some serious sparkle (especially around the neckline) means less accessories are needed to complete your look.

The Deep V

Watch out Olivia Wilde, Ciara gave the other mom-to-be (remember the Golden Globes?) a run for her money last night when she wore a sequin Pucci dress showing off her adorable baby bump. A plunging neckline is a subtle way to balance a modest design (like one with long sleeves).

Sleeved Sheath

Paris Hilton (apparently there’s a new record on the horizon for this reality star), came in a white Haus of Milani gown that had sheer panels on the sleeves and backside. What I love about this dress is how modest it is from the front, but that it has a hint of sexiness seen from the rear. Get a similar vibe with a lace sheath and a slit in the back.

Playful Tiers

Grammy Award winner Kacey Musgraves looked lovely in Armani Prive. Of course it doesn’t compare with her rhinestone outfit and light-up cowboy boots that she wore to perform, but this tiered gown was utterly elegant.

Embellished Collar

Colbie Caillat’s high neckline was as interesting as it was sexy. Her red Ezra Santos gown featured a sheer panel across the chest that could easily translate to bridal.

As if Ariana Grande could be any more adorable, her floral-print Dolce & Gabbana dress was practically perfect. For a look that would  make even Audrey Hepburn jealous, try a sweetheart neckline and full skirt tea-length dress.

Elegant Edginess

Anna Kendrick wore a lavender Azzaro dress that was the perfect combination of sexy and sweet. This rocker-chic look has a modern style that could definitely work for a wedding.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
