Bride Battles Groom In Epic Harry Potter Wedding Photo

A self-proclaimed Harry Potter nerd, bride Tanya enlisted the help of her photographer Bilal Mirza to stage this epic wizard duel photo at their wedding. The photo was taken at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor, MI where the couple married with other unique details like a wine box ceremony, a Detroit Lions-themed garter belt (the groom’s choice!) and DIY centerpieces. We love a playful personalized wedding and this couple totally pulled it off. See who won the duel (and more photos from the wedding) below!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
