Navy Sailor Marries High School Sweetheart At The Airport

AirportWedding

Seaman Dylan Ruffer kept his promise when he told his high-school sweetheart that he would marry her the day he came home from Syria. He not only married her the same day — he married her at the airport just as soon as he stepped off the plane in Reno, Nevada! The ceremony was set up in from of the arrivals escalators and the two exchanged vows right there in front of more than 200 guests. After the ceremony, guests made their way to baggage claim for the reception (yes, you read that right). The airport staff helped out with the catering and a  handful of other local businesses pitched in to provide services for the couple’s wedding. You just have to watch it to believe it. See below!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
