11/12/13 (Tuesday) Is A Popular Day To Get Married!

Weekdays aren’t typically the preferred day to get married for practical reasons, but that doesn’t hold true next week. There are nearly 3,000 couples getting married next Tuesday, November 12. That’s 4 times the typical Tuesday in November.

Sequential dates and repeat dates like 9/10/11, 10/11/12 and 12/12/12 have historically made for hot wedding dates over the past few years. What makes these types of dates so popular? Well for one thing it means you never have an excuse to miss an anniversary, and the date looks nice on a wedding invitation too. Besides that, even though 11/12/13 is a Tuesday, it’s fall — an increasingly popular wedding season. Think pretty fall colors, crisp cool air, and an excuse to rock a pretty shawl with your dress. In fact, October 12, 2013 was the most popular wedding day of the year!

All this fun with numbers is going to come to an end for almost a century on 12/13/14. Yep, it’s true. The last sequential wedding date for almost a century falls on a Saturday next year and we’re guessing it’s going to be huge.
