This Is How The Tallest Man In The World Gets Married

The world’s tallest man, Sultan Kosen got married in Turkey last Saturday.  Sultan is eight-feet, three-inches tall and his new wife Merve is almost three-feet shorter than him (just five-foot, six-inches). If you thought it was hard to find the right fit for your groom’s tux just imagine what it was like for him. Sultan commissioned a custom suit and size 28 shoes especially for the wedding day. The bride wore a red veil (a custom that’s common in Turkish weddings) along with her all-white wedding dress. See photos below!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
