Would You Want To Get Engaged On Live TV?

TodayShowProposal

This morning there were two surprise proposals on both the Today Show and Good Morning America. What are the chances of that?! Getting down on one knee on live TV has to be one of the most public and over-the-top ways to propose (on par with getting engaged on the jumbotron at a sporting event). A grand gesture can be totally romantic, but you also have to consider the pressure of making a lifetime decision in front of a million viewers. Watch the video from the Today Show, see the photo of GMA‘s weatherman Sam Champion who spotted a proposal in the audience, and then tell us what you think!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
