Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Dress Predictions

I don’t know if I should openly admit this but I cannot stop thinking about Kim and Kanye’s engagement. The biggest question being what is the glamorous Kardashian going to wear? The only way to make the madness stop is to dress Kim myself. Here are some gorgeous wedding gowns based on my favorite red carpet looks.

Asymmetrical Sweetheart

This red hot number with an asymmetrical one-shoulder strap Kim wore to the LACMA Gala in 2010 would look gorgeous done up in white. Monique Lhuillier adds an extra romance factor by making the strap sheer.

Sexy Cutouts

Kim isn’t a stranger to showing skin (she wore this tight cut-out dress to an event in 2009) so she would be all over this Yumi Katsura wedding gown with sheer crystal encrusted panels.

Voluminous Mini

Showing some leg (and then some!) seems to be Kimmy’s to-go look. The dress she wore to the 2009 Grammy Awards could actually be a cute reception dress. If she wants to veer a little more bridal this Marchesa mini is sexy and sophisticated.

Lace Cap Sleeves

This cap sleeve dress Kim wore to the Instyle Golden Globes after party channels old-school Hollywood glamour. If designed in white (like the above Pnina Tornai wedding gown) it has a much softer, more ethereal effect.

Skin-tight White

All covered up is not usually this Kardashian’s look but this dress she wore to the 2012 BET Awards still manages to show off every curve. Our bridal equivalent is this sleek and elegant, form-fitting Pronovias gown.

Slits and Dips

Plunging neckline and thigh-high slits play up Kim’s ample cleavage and toned legs. Our Reem Acra pick has the same deep-V neckline but tones down the sex appeal a notch to make this look more wedding appropriate.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
