Prince Felix Of Luxembourg’s Royal Wedding In The South of France

Here’s yet another royal wedding for the history books. Prince Felix of Luxembourg married Claire Lademacher, at Sainte Marie-Madeleine basilica in the South of France over the weekend. The highlight? Claire wore a gorgeous long-sleeved lace gown with an illusion neckline designed by Elie Saab. (Fun fact: the bride’s now sister in law the Countess of Belgium also wore Elie Saab to her wedding last year!) Claire complemented her gown with an extra long embroidered wedding veil and natural makeup with a pop of pink lipstick. Other details to note? The flower girls wore simple white dresses and green flower crowns while the page boys looked their part in white traditional suits (photo below). Congrats to the royal couple!

It’s common for members of the royal family to have two weddings, one civil and one religious. For the couple’s civil ceremony last Tuesday, Claire wore a little-white-dress with peplum with a structured fit and nude pumps for a casual look that was stunning.

Wedding gowns with illusion necklines, sleeves and peplums have all been huge trends in wedding gowns this year, and it looks like these styles aren’t going anywhere soon.
