A Princess Leia Inspired Wedding Ring (And Death Star Ring Box!)

This ring takes Star Wars fanaticism to a whole new level. The design is based on the belt on Princess Leia’s signature white gown. The groom, Jinyo, even had a ring box shaped like the Death Star! The couple were actually contestants on a show called Heroes of Cosplay a reality show on the Syfy channel, so role playing their favorite science fiction characters is a hobby of theirs.

Your wedding ring says a lot about who you are and your personal style. That’s why we love creative (and unconventional) wedding rings that reflect the couple. If you’re getting a ring custom designed you’ll need up to six weeks or more before it’s ready, so plan ahead if you’re thinking of creating your own style!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
