How Cute Is This Destination Wedding Save-The-Date?

During one of their wedding venue scouting trips to Bermuda, Tanya and Peter rented a scooter to explore every last inch of the island. (During their trip, they found the breathtaking Astwood Cove and Park for their ceremony — a grassy park right on the ocean with an incredible view popular with the locals.) They had so much fun driving around the island together that they decided to capture the memory with an illustration for their save-the-dates. See the final product and a coordinating photo from the day below!

Obviously we couldn’t leave you hanging there! There are so many details from this wedding to share, starting with these handmade escort cards in a vintage suitcase and table markers made from maps of places the couple had visited over the years…

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
