This Couple Got Married On Water Skis!

After saying their vows at the Vancouver Water Ski club Caylee Wasilenko and Cam Auge hopped on the skis and took off around Bedwell Bay while a photographer took photos from the back of the boat. The view and amazing photos make getting the bride’s $1,600 dress wet totally worth it.  The bride even took safety precautions and wore a life vest under her gown.

This isn’t the first time a couple has gone completely untraditional we’ve seen a ceremony in the middle of the river and even a couple who got married while flying with jet packs. If doing extreme sports during your wedding isn’t for you,  you can still incorporate a shared hobby or interest by choosing a unique venue like a ski lodge or football stadium and including your favorite snack as a favor or plan surprises like a chic lounge space or super personalized welcome bags.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
