The Most Beautiful Trash The Dress Photos We’ve Ever Seen

Let’s be honest, the traditional trash the dress session that involves a mud-covered dress doesn’t appeal to everyone. But take a look at these photos and you might change your mind. Shot in a cenote in Tulum, Mexico, the blue-green water and secluded surrounding rocks make for the perfect backdrop. Tip: If you want to try one of these sessions but worried about your dress, do what bride-to-be Kim did. Instead of wearing her actual wedding dress (a fit-to-flare Marisa Bridals gown), she wore a different, much simpler white halter gown. Laura at Beautiful Day Photography captured every tropical moment below…

Of course we couldn’t stop there because their wedding day photos were gorgeous too! They rented the Viceroy Resort in Playa Del Carmen and turned it into a chic summer camp weekend for their friends and family.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
