Sting’s 16th century villa, Il Palagio, near Florence, Italy is actually available to rent out for weddings and events. Sting isn’t the only one willing to rent out his place for a wedding. Richard Branson, Bruce Willis and even Keith Richards will hand over the keys to anyone for a nice large dollar sum.

Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands

For the ultimate, over-the-top, exclusive destination venue take a look at Sir Richard Branson’s 74-acre private island. Although the media mogul’s main house burned down during Hurricane Irene in 2011, the new Balinese style villa is due to reopen later this year.

Ian Fleming’s Goldeneye Resort in Orcabessa, Jamaica

Ian Flemming custom-built his Goldeneye villa at the same time he was living out the days in Jamaica writing James Bond books. After Flemming’s death, the house was sold to Bob Marley and today it’s owned by Chris Blackwell, (who also happens to be the owner of Island Records). The house underwent some serious expansion and was eventually turned into a resort. The first James Bond film, Dr. No, was even filmed at the gorgeous beachfront property.
