Bride Instagrams Her Wedding In Real Time (And It’s Awesome)

Bon Appetite Art Director Live Instagrammed Wedding

Are you ready for the coolest wedding (like so cool even Girls’ Lena Dunham tweeted about it)  you’ve ever seen? Bon Appetite Art Director Elizabeth Spiridakis (aka @white_lightning) got married over the weekend to musician Preston Olson and let’s just say the couple wasn’t shy about sharing the details on Instagram. The result: an amazing real time photo album-worthy collection of wedding photos! Elizabeth was able to collect tons of photos with the help of family and friends, so she didn’t have to worry about having her phone out while saying “I do.” After obsessively stalking Elizabeth’s Instagram feed and all the photos with her wedding hashtag #epomg (filled with 400+ photos from her wedding this weekend), I rounded up a few of my favorite ‘grams (like her amazing manicure!). Check them out!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
