Feast Your Eyes On This Tablescape

The fall 2013 issue of The Knot Weddings Magazine is out on stands now and today we have a little sneak peek from one of the wedding style stories. The tables and colors were all inspired by the location, Pippen Hill Farm and Vineyard in Charlottesville, Virginia. One of our favorite wedding planners (and member of the wed 100 series), Lynn Easton actually happens to own the gorgeous venue and land so naturally she designed the tables. Lynn chose lush floral arrangements filled with exotic parrot tulips and full coral charm peonies (one of my personal favorites!) and mixed them with Old World accents like cut crystal decanters and gold rimmed plates create a seriously stunning display. Ok, ok I’ll stop gushing and let the photos speak for themselves!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
