A Natural Rustic Wedding at Beano’s Cabin from James Christianson

Choosing a venue and location that holds true meaning is one of the best ways to ensure your wedding day looks and feels personal. Natalie and Trevor did just that. The two love to go skiing in Beaver Creek, Colorado every year, so when it came to choosing a wedding location, they could think of nothing more fitting than a destination wedding at Beano’s Cabin. A white, ivory and green color palette complemented the surrounding scene of the wilderness and all of the details had a rustic, elegant feel — from the hollow wooden logs filled with green and white flowers to the hanging lanterns and buttercream wedding cake. The most magical detail of all? The couple’s skylight tent and dance floor (photos below!).

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
